Welcome to the seventh post in my series of Arm Chair Travel; where I share with you some of my favourite travel blog posts I have read throughout the month.
So grab a cuppa (or wine 😉 ), sit back in your arm-chair, and join me as I show you what I discovered in the world of travel during July 2016.

Travel planning is my favourite part of travel (well almost 😉 ). I love all the researching and making lists but for some of you I am sure this is not the case. If you are one who is struggling with where to begin Vlad from Eff It, I’m on Holiday has a great starter planning list.
Still on the theme of travel preparation, camping offers a great cost-effective way to travel with kids. Anne from Let Me Be Free offers some great tips to get your started.
I just discover this travel blog: California Globetrotter written by Lorelei her latest post tells of her spur of the moment getaway to Bruges showcasing some lovely spots on the beach including wonderful areas for families.
The Blissful Belgian Coast: Blankenberge Beach
All these places look wonderful to travel to, so wonderful in fact that do you find that there are always thousands of other tourists about getting in your way. Noemi from Pinay Flying High gives us a few tips on how to beat the crowds at the Acropolis in Athens.
I know all those other tourists can be annoying but Corinne from Reflections Enroute opens our minds into looking at the positives of having the tourist numbers at these destinations.
Which is your favourite travel blog post from July?

Pleasure Anne – I thought your camping tips were useful. let me know what you think of the other travel blog posts.
Thank you for sharing! So glad you found Blankenberge Beach so lovely!! #TheWeeklyPostcard
You’re welcome Lolo, I love that Blankenberge beach had all those playgrounds right on the sand – something every parent with young kids would appreciate.
Very interesting series, Sally-Ann. Travel planning is always my favorite part too. It is always the anticipation that makes things look even better than the real trip, so I agree with Vlad.
Thank you Anda, my son is also getting right into the travel planning. We are currently 7 weeks out from our next family holiday and he is constantly asking what will be doing and offering suggestions.
Nice compilation! I have not read some of these posts. Good material for Sunday reading!
Thanks Ruth – I would love to hear which ones were your favourite.
Great idea to put together a post like this! It’s really nice to see what others are blogging about 🙂 Just one of the reasons I love the blogging community!
Thank you Michelle, I agree with your comment about the blogging community especially travel bloggers – they really do support each other.
