Welcome to the eleventh post in the Arm Chair Travel series. The Arm Chair Travel series is where I share with you, my favourite travel blog posts I have recently read. As Toddlers on Tour is now a co-host of #TheWeeklyPostcard (learn more about that HERE) I thought the Arm Chair Travel series would be a great way for me to introduce to yo some enjoyable travel posts I found during the previous weeks link up.
#TheWeeklyPostcard is a travel blog linkup. It is a place where travel bloggers can share all things travel. You will find travel blog posts offering travel tips, packing lists, accommodation reviews, yummy places to eat and destination inspirations.
If you would like notifications to join #TheWeeklyPostcard link up, please complete the form below. In the meantime:
Grab a cuppa (or wine 😉 ), sit back in your arm-chair, and join me as I show you what I discovered in the world of travel on #TheWeeklyPostcard.
The week’s link up began with Mapping the Map laying out their processes in planning a holiday to Namibia. Whilst you may not be thinking of this African country for your next holiday, the article does offer some great travel tips for planning a holiday.
Planning: Full adventure in Namibia
Once you have your destination and things to do mapped out, you will need to consider how to get about around your destination – including getting from the airport to your accommodation. Trip Wellness looks at some various ways to get around and some pitfalls they encountered in Budapest. You can apply this travel to plenty of destinations.
Another thing you need to think about when planning a holiday is food. For me, one of the great joys of travel is experiencing new and tasty dishes. Eff It I’m on Holiday shows us how food turned a trip to a destination he wasn’t all that keen on visiting, into a destination with wonderful memories. It all came down to the food.
