5 Places to Take the Kids in Pheonix
Phoenix Zoo
Bring your kids to the Phoenix Zoo, and they’ll thank you forever! They’ll be able to see wild animals up close, feed tall giraffes, wave at fat hippos and marvel at the size of huge elephants. They can also ride a safari train and visit other really cool attractions such as the Monkey Village, the Stingray Bay, the Leapin’ Lagoon and Yakulla Caverns. This zoo is great because kids can really get to know the animals and understand how they live and where they come from.

This museum is home to more than 300 exhibits where little kids can learn and have fun at the same time. There are lots of play experiences for them to try, including the Art Studio, Book Loft, Building Big, Noodle Forest and Texture Café. The museum is free on the first Friday every month between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm, and it’s a great place to experiment with technology and learn how the world works.

Your kids will love these gorgeous insects with their beautiful colours, and the park itself is a rainforest with incredible exotic trees and plants. There are signs everywhere giving information about butterflies and their behaviour, so it’s a great way to learn while having a blast.
