I can attest to the importance of having entertainment for kids on trips. It’s always good to have something that is not digital too – it’s an easy option to give the iPad or DVD player to them, and we have definitely done it – but I do prefer it when they are in the back, reading or doing something besides looking at a screen.
I agree Annie. Whilst I have used the E-tablet for entertainment. Simple things like colouring, reading and have games at the ready helps the time go by.
The Playette travel tray would be a winner with our daughters because they like to flip through books while we drive. It would also save me reaching my hand around to pick up the dropped book!!
I have to say Bec, I really like that it has the edges to stop the toys rolling off.
At the moment none of them would because my bub is too young, but I can see she’d be into the backpack toy traveller organiser later on.
Yes Toni most of the ideas I found were for toddlers, preschoolers and older children. It won’t be long before your bub is ready to be entertained so keep these ideas in mind.
