Day Trips

Travel and tourism is not just about getting in the car or hoping on a plane and travelling for hours before arriving at your accommodation where you will spend the next week or two. It also includes day trips. Sometimes these trips are well planned and thought out destinations and sometimes it’s spur of the moment.

Here in Perth we are so lucky with options; a picnic up to the hills in the bush, wine tasting in The Swan Valley, a stroll along the river, or a day at the beach.

Picnic Lunch at the Local Park 8

This Sunday morning we had pottered about the house, by 1130 we started questioning LUNCH? “How about a BBQ at the local park,” Steve suggested.  Lewis jumped up and down shouting with excitement. With a plan set, I headed to the local supermarket for sausages, chicken and fresh rolls.  I returned home and marinated the […]

Tips for getting kids eating out

Coffee with Kids 8

I discovered a great way to get Lewis use to eating out at a restaurant. It all began when we on holiday in Singapore.  Whilst I enjoyed the majority of the holiday, eating out became a nightmare!  I began to cringe when it was time for a meal.  He would not sit still!  It didn’t matter […]
