Arm Chair Travel #21

Staying safe on holiday is all in the travel planning.

Welcome to the twenty-first post in the Arm Chair Travel series.  The Arm Chair Travel series is where I share with you, my favourite travel blog posts I have recently read.  As Toddlers on Tour is now a co-host of #TheWeeklyPostcard (learn more about that HERE) I thought the Arm Chair Travel series would be a great way for me to introduce you to some enjoyable travel posts I found during the previous weeks link up.

#TheWeeklyPostcard is a place where travel bloggers can share all their travel posts.  You will find travel blog posts offering travel tips, packing lists, accommodation reviews, yummy places to eat and destination inspirations.

I find reading travel blogs really helps in the holiday planning.  Some travel blog posts offer destination inspirations, others provide things to do in a location, a few offer packing list and on occasion you can find safety tips.  Last week (18 August 2017) on #TheWeeklyPostcard it was about the planning and in particular the safety aspect of travel planning.  Staying safe on your holiday comes down to thinking smart and planning well.

MichWanderlust explained how she stays safe as a solo female traveller.  I used a lot of her tips and tricks when I backpacked solo around Europe in the 1990’s.  However, don’t think these safety tips don’t apply to you if you are not a solo female traveller – they apply to anybody and everybody who travels.

In the meantime, Tips 4 Trips focused on how to keep your holiday money safe.  Looking at the variety of travel wallets there are to purchase.  Thereby helping you to decide which wallet to purchase for your holiday style.

Meanwhile, Trip Wellness offered up some very sound advice when viewing an eclipse.  Explaining how to view and not view the eclipse.

While Two Traveling Texans were off to the beach.  Included in their swimming bag of goodies were some nifty ways to conceal your valuables.  Always a tricky thing to do when all you have is a tote bag and a towel.

I wonder what travel planning advice we’ll find on this weeks #TheWeeklyPostcard
